When judges attack

Bitter blogs an out of control judge in Utah. Ordinarily, you would think that Utah is friendly to gun owners and hunters. Read her comments and try to keep your lunch down when you watch the video.

Erasing History to feel good

Looks like a few do-gooders have been working in secret for months to rename Michigan road to Martin Luther King Jr. Street from 38th street all the way to the county line at 96th street! This road has been called Michigan road for well over a century. I guess this is such a good idea that it had to start in secret. I have never seen an MLK st. that is a bastion of well maintained properties, prosperity, and safety. I live not too far from the stretch that would be renamed and my property value would be in jeporady. Thanks lieberals. Look, King did a lot of good, and he helped to end many stupid and sick discriminatory practices. But extending the street name, trouncing history, and making business change stationary is an absurd idea. We have an MLK street, and Michigan road, let's keep them that way.

We're in this together

When I used to shoot trap, I got the feeling that many shotgunners would be happy if the black rifle people went away. Looks like I'm right. Michael Bane put it bluntly, The Ten Ring calls it a must read, and Kim Du Toit nails it home.

Just because Sarah "I'm not projecting pain" Brady doesn't want your Tuscany Port over under with the fluted walnut stock doesn't mean she won't want it after she takes my AR-15.

Oh, and SB, you'll get that out of my cold, dead, hands.

Oh, no! Pro Athletes with guns!

The CBS affiliate just ran a report on professional athletes carrying guns. Some cheese master on their report claimed that they get guns to extend their egos. Ugh.

How about the fact that they earn gobs of money and have things that scumbags might steal? Their salaries are listed in the newspaper and Internet after all.

And Foleygate

So much has been written about this that I can't really say anything more, except that I echo the sentiment that the Republocrats have put the final nail in their coffin. Yeah, I know about Gerry Studds from 26 years ago. This isn't as bad. The Reps have ignored real tax reform, border security, and have spent more than Dhimmocrat regimes. Don't know where I'll put my vote a month from now, but neither major party is good as they stand.

On basketball players and strip clubs

Last weekend a few Pacers players got in to a tiff at a strip bar. Long story short, the fight went outside and one of players got hit by a car and he fired back. He had a ccw permit. If it turns out that he was charged by the car, then appropriate force was used - a car can be more deadly than a gun.

Now why were these guys at a strip bar at 3 a.m.? Who knows. Their choice, not mine. My wife said pro basketball players are acting more and more like thugs. I'm afraid that soon there won't be much difference.
